About

I am Chu Wa, a product designer working for a Dutch MNC in the area of Heath and Lifestyle. I switch from driving to cycling in 2004 and have been enjoying it everyday.

A large part of my job is to identify innovation opportunities for the company to create high value with less cost. Switching from driving to cycling has been the biggest and most sustainable innovation in my personal life.

The daily ride helps to improve my energy level to deal with the stress at work. But cycling in Singapore has it’s fair share of gripes. The hot weather and road safety are the most cited.

I can’t chance the weather but I can testify Holland is not better than Singapore. I offer my help in the Safe Cycling Taskforce and hope to improve the road condition for cyclists.

This website is an attempt to “scale-up” my cycling benefit from one person to many. I’m passionate to introduce this new solution to you.

The operation of the website and the JZ88 bicycles are financed with the money saved by not owning a car. So I don’t really care if this operation doesn’t make money- it would have been a total lost if I am still keeping my car.

This blog is a space to share my experience and inspiration after seeing the world on the JZ88 bike.

A foldable bike combines with public transportation is really a fun and green way of commuting in modern cities. I’ve ride my JZ88 in many countries during my trips.

One more point: if you are not doing any daily exercise, you can look forward to become 10 years younger by integrating JZ88 in your daily commuting.
